TASHKENT – SUKOK – TASHKENT (BLD)

By car, about 2 hours.

• Arrival in Tashkent early morning (6:30 am).
• Welcome at the airport by the guide and driver.
• A little rest after your night flight, then drive to the village of Sukok (60 km).
• Walk in the village until lunch awaits you at a local chaikhana (tea house).
• Departure for a beautiful hike (difference +/- 300m) on small Tchotkol mountains (alt. 1800m), to the hidden source Chashma, crossing small rivers, heath and pine forest.
• Return to the village and drive to Tashkent.

TASHKENT – ESKI FORICH (195 KM) (BLD)

• By car, about 4-5 hours.
• After breakfast, drive to the Nurata Mountains through the Syrdarya and Djizzakh regions and reach the village Eski Forish.
• Arrival at the village in the
• Settle at the guest house, lunch and stroll through the village to get to know the locals.
• Diner with the locals.

DAY 3

ESKI FORICH – ASHRAF (BLD)

5-6 hours of walking

Elevation + and – 500 m

• Hike to historic gazebo, which was used to observe the plains of the desert Kyzylkum (red sand) to prevent sudden attacks of enemies.
• The route allows walking through the orchards of the village, steep pastures and a world that is becoming more mineral. It is not unusual to see eagles, partridge and sometimes goats.
• Arrival in the village of Ashraf.
• Settle in the guest house, lunch and stroll through the village.
• Climb a hill to contemplate the view of the village.
• Dinner with the locals.

DAY 4

ASHRAF – OUKHOUM (BLD)

5-6 hours of walking

Elevation + and – 500 m

• You leave the village of Ashraf to join another charming village of neighboring mountain Oukhoum.
• During the day you will cross several cross hills and hamlets with a warm rural atmosphere.
• It is not uncommon to be invited for tea on Uzbek tapchan.
• Upon arrival, settle into the guest house, lunch and free time to stroll through the village, meet the locals, and see them in their daily business.
• Diner with the locals.

DAY 5

HIGH OUKHOUM – SENTOB (BLD)

4-5 hours of walking

Elevation + and – 500 m

• Departure for the village of Sentob by car.
• Stroll in the village up to the guest house, settle and lunch.
• Walk in the charming village of stone houses, steep at the foot of the mountain, along a river and surrounded by lush orchards.

DAY 6

SENTOB (BLD)

10 hours of walking.

Elevation + and – 600m

• A full day to Lake Fazilman (10 hours roundtrip – 22 km) in the heart of Nurata Mountains.
• A hike in the shape of achievement, not technically difficult but for good walkers.
• Get through the neck; continue on the board of Lake Fazilman.
• Rest at the lake, near the gorge of the shepherd, beautiful green gorge near the top Fazilman.
• Picnic lunch.
• For those who wish, the ascent may continue to mount Fazilman to altitude 1833m (2h extra walk) then descent to Sentob.

DAY 7

SENTOB – AYDAR YURT CAMPS (150 KM) (BLD)

By car 2 hours

2-3 hours of walking.

• On the way to the desert to discover the nomadic life.
• Start hiking in the desert to Lake Aydar (12 km).
• Arrive at Lake Aydar, continue along the lake shore to observe the birds that colonize the banks (pelicans, cormorants, condors, etc.).
• It is possible to swim in the lake.
• Picnic by the lake.
• Arrival at the yurt camp in the late afternoon.
• Memorable ride on the back of camels in the steppe.
• Free time to watch the sunset in the desert.

YURT CAMPS AYDAR – BUKHARA (190 KM) (BLD)

By car 4h30.

• After breakfast, drive to Bukhara.
• Stop at Guijdovan village which is famous for his fine ceramics.
• Arrival in Bukhara in the early afternoon.
• Most attractions of Bukhara are concentrated in the old city of Chakhristan and explored on foot.
• Night walk.

BUKHARA (BLD)

• The whole day is dedicated to the discovery of the old part of Bukhara – made famous by its former carpet market.
• City museum in the middle of the sands, Bukhara will delight you with the atmosphere of its old streets and its remarkable monuments to plunge into the atmosphere of the caravans of the Silk Road.
• First, the mausoleum Ismail Samani (9^th – 10^th century), the oldest building in the city and one of the most beautiful jewels of Uzbekistan.
• Then the mausoleum Chashma Ayub (12^th-14^th century), all Bola Hauz (18^th century) and the Citadel Ark. The symbol of the Bukhara Emirate stands in all its majesty on the square of Registan and recalled the terror of Mang’it time. Residence of the lords of Bukhara, the Ark is as old as Bukhara itself.

BUKHARA – SAMARKAND – (280 KMS) (BLD)

By car 4 hours.

• At 9 a.m departure to Samarkand.
• Discover the capital of the empire of Temourides.
• Visit the Registan Square, the most grandiose complex in Central Asia and one of the most beautiful of Islam. It was the hotspot of the capital of Tamerlane, where six arteries met under the dome of a bazaar.

SAMARKAND (BLD)

• The whole day is dedicated to the discovery of the capital of the empire of Timur or Tamerlane.
• Crossroads different Silk Road, the west to Persia, the east to China, and south to India. Alexander the Great, Genghis Khan were his conquerors and Tamerlane made it his capital. Its domes and blue mosaic still spellbound today’s travelers.
• Visit the observatory Ulug bek, Shakhi Zinda necropolis, a silk carpet workshop (suzani).
• The visit continues with the SYAB market and Bibi Khanum mosque.

SAMARKAND – CAVE HAZRAT DAWOOD – SAMARKAND (100 KM) (BLD)

By car 2 hours round trip.

• Breakfast
• Departure to the mountain ranges of Turkestan, to the Cave of Hazrat Dawood, place of worship about fifty kilometers south of Samarkand.
• According to the legend, King David (Hazrat Dawood) at the end of his reign went to distant lands to preach monotheism to the pagans. Arriving near Samarkand, Hazrat Dawood preached and worked in a forge. At the foot of the ascended to the cave is the forge of Hazrat Dawood. A few hundred meters from his forge starts climbing the stairs with more than 2000 steps.
• Discover the cave.
• Back to Samarkand.
• Farewell dinner offered at a good restaurant.

SAMARKAND – TASHKENT (320 KM) (BLD)

By car 4 hours.

• Morning departure to Tashkent.
• Arrival in Tashkent at noon.
• Lunch
• Explore the old town and Khasti Imam with the Barak-Khan madrasah, mausoleum and mosque Kaffal Chochiy Tilla Shaykh.
• Then visit the market Chor-Su ( “four paths”).

TASHKENT – PARIS (B)
